Chapter 1: Last Moments of Normalcy

Steven was sitting in his english class, staring at his crush, Evelyn. Evelyn Turner. She had brown hair, styled with bangs and a pink bow. She was friendly towards him, saying hi as she walked past him. One day, Steven got a call from Evelyn, who was crying and asking him to come over.


Steven: I got here as fast as I could. What happened?

Evelyn: It- it's my sister. She- she's been in a horrible car accident. She's dead.


Steven was upset at this turn. She then asked him a very... odd question.


Evelyn: Will- will you pretend to be my sister?

Steven: Wha...


After a little bit of convincing, he finally agreed. They ran inside and into her room.
